Poltava Dumplings
Ingredients:
2 cups wheat flour
1 cup kefir (or buttermilk)
1 egg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda

Instructions:
Mix flour salt, egg, kefir, and baking soda into a soft dough.
Roll into small balls or strips and cut into dumplings
Boil in salted water until they float (6-7 minutes)

Serve with butter, sour cream, or meat stew and enjoy!
